Morgan Ottesen:

Morgan is a 13 year old 8th grade student at Monticello Trails Middle School in Shawnee, KS where she wrestles for the school team (the only girl). After the middle school season is over Morgan will wrestle with her local club Mill Valley. Morgan has 2 older brothers and 2 younger sisters.

Morgan's Interest:

Hobbies- I like to cook (& eat!), playguitar, piano, sax, & I play clarinet in the schoolband.

Other sports you are involved in? Track, wakeboarding, skateboarding.

What are your short term goals? Improve my technique.

What are your long term goals? To wrestle in college and hopefully the Olympics someday.

What activities are you involved in at school ouroutside of school? I'm on the honor roll and a bandgeek.

What made you decide to wrestle? The local wrestling club flyer came to my school when I was in 4th grade & I decided to try it out.

Do you prefer to wrestle boys or girls? Doesn'tmatter.

What gets you ready for a match? Stretching.

Do you have any routines or habits to get you ready for a match? Are you superstitious? Group stretching. Not superstitious.

Do you listen to music when working out or gettingready to wrestle? No.

What is your favorite move? High crotch.

Morgan will wrestle at 14 & Under, 135 lbs. and brings 5 years of experience.
